Frequently Asked Questions

It's always nice to feel prepared when you're showing up somewhere for the first time.

Here are some questions we get a lot, in case you're asking yourself the same things. If we missed anything here, feel free to fill out the contact form at the bottom of the page.

  • Where can I find First Presbyterian?
First Presbyterian Church is easy to find. We are located at 215 5th Ave. South in Lewistown, Montana. See our Contact page for an easy map. We have parking available in a lot directly to the west of the sanctuary. There is additional parking on the east side of our community building, as well as street parking.
  • What does the service look like?
We tend to worship traditionally, relying on liturgy, hymns, choir and piano. Worship is an hour long beginning at 10:30 a.m. First Presbyterian services are livestreamed on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/FirstPresbyterianChurchLewistown. If you missed a service, you can catch up on sermons on the homepage of our website.
  • What should I wear?
You are welcome to our church in whatever you feel comfortable wearing. On Sunday mornings, you will find our congregation in anything from business casual to boots and jeans.
  • Are kids welcome?
We love kids. You may keep your children with you during worship or check them in for a great time with our "Fun Name for Nursery" group. Our kids leaders are all screened for working with children and we place a high value on their care.
  • How do I get connected?
Keep up-to-date with our weekly newsletter and by following us on Facebook. Don't forget to join us every Sunday after worship for Coffee and Fellowship.
  • Are there accommodations for the deaf and hearing impaired?
We offer wireless hearing aid devices that are interfaced with our sound system, aiding in your ability to hear the entire service.
